Kawaii Bear Hamburger Recipe

Hello friends! I made some hamburger buns for this week’s recipe. I decorated them with bear faces! You can use your own favorite ingredients or your kids favorite ingredients for the toppings. Those buns take a much longer time to make so maybe double the ingredients if you want more.

Have a great day friends! I hope you like my bears. The recipe video and the written recipe are below ⬇️

📽 How To Make Kawaii Bear Hamburgers ?

🥣Recipe: Kawaii Bear Hamburgers
⏰Time: About 3 hours
🍔Makes : 6 buns

🍢Ingredients:
All purpose flour: 300 g
Fast rising yeast: 3/4teaspoon
Warm milk: 150 ml
Beaten eggs:2
Sugar: 2 tablespoons
Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons

🛠Supplies I Used :
Baking pan, parchment paper, stand mixer, measuring cup, damp cloth, knife, brush, oven, silicone baking prep mat, little bowls etc.

🎨Food Art Ingredients:(for 1 bear)
Bun: 1
Ham slices: 2
Yellow cheese: 1 piece or thin carrot slices: 2
White cheese: 1 piece
Lettuce: 1 piece
Mayo
Nori

🛠Food Art Supplies I Used:
Tweezers, scissors, bread knife, fork, butter knife, emoji puncher, small circle cutter, little plate etc.

👉Instructions:
1. Add the yeast to the milk and mix well. Set aside.

2. Add flour, sugar, salt, beaten eggs(save some for brushing the buns) and pour the yeast mixture in the mixing bowl.

3. Use low speed to mix the flour for about 5 minutes.

4. Add oil to the mixing bowl and use medium speed to mix the dough for about 10 minutes.

5. When done, form the dough into a round ball shape, and put it back into the bowl.

6. Put a damp cloth on the mixing bowl, place the bowl in a warm spot and let it rise(about 1.5 hour)

7. Release the air with your fist and then form into a rectangular dough shape.  Cut into 6 pieces.

8. Form the dough piece into a ball and continuously turn the ball in on itself by pushing the outside edge towards the center, the more the better.

9. Put the parchment paper on the baking pan and place the dough balls on it. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for 45 minutes.

10. Toward the end of the rising time, preheat the oven to 350 °F

11. Brush the dough balls with remaining beaten egg, bake in the oven for 18 minutes.

12. When the buns are cooled off. Slice in the middle of the bun(not all the way). Spread some mayo or butter on the bun and add the lettuce. You can then make ham flowers and cheese/carrot flowers and you can stick them in the bun. Use the emoji puncher to punch out the eyes, mouth and nose with nori.  Use a circle cutter to cut out the bear’s snout with cheese. Glue the face features on the bun with mayo. Enjoy!(🐻Food Art Video)
